Listen: Great Ytene Announce 12” EP, Stream ‘Away For Now’

The ever-evolving, cascading sound of Great Ytene has a new home. The band have signed up to Bella Union (Fleet Foxes, Beach House) for a 12’ EP - ‘Away For Now’ is the lead track.

For those unfamiliar, Great Ytene recently formed off the back of COLOURS, with links to London label Marshall Teller to boot. If previous single ‘Unknowing’ was an endlessly enlivening introduction, ‘Away For Now’ goes even further, meshing layer upon layer of all-enveloping noise into a united, colossal giant of a song. You can practically envisage My Bloody Valentine knocking on the studio walls, asking if they can have their pedalboard back.
