Listen: Phantogram Announce ‘Voices’ Album, Stream ‘Fall In Love’
NY duo use their ‘Voices’ for a second album, out next February.
Hook-obsessed New York duo Phantogram have given a further lease of life to their heady synth-pop. Following on from a self-titled EP, featuring the stunning songs ‘Black Out Days’ and ‘Celebrating Nothing’, Joshua Carter and Sarah Barthel have announced a new album, ‘Fall In Love’.
‘Voices’ is their official follow-up to 2010’s ‘Eyelid Movies’, and it’ll feature the two previously mentioned tracks, plus a song titled ‘Bill Murray’. The album’s out on 18th February in North America via Republic - pre-order on iTunes.
Lead track from the record ‘Fall In Love’ has also been unveiled, skewing the kind of sample-heavy mode of thought that The Avalanches would be proud of with Barthel’s more level-headed vocals.
