Corin Roddick from the Montreal duo explained to Dazed about essentially stripping ‘Applause’ of everything but the vocals. What it amounts to, then, is more of a nightcrawler.
The Purity Ring trademarks are at the centre, but hearing Gaga soundtracked by sinister night-music is a brilliant thing.
