Listen: Spector Unveil ‘Decade of Decay’ Track
Dev Hynes produced number previews Spector’s DIY & Dr. Martens #STANDFORSOMETHING show.

Dev Hynes has grabbed his super-producer hat again for the recording of Spector’s first new material in over a year (since 2012’s ‘Enjoy it While it Lasts’), with ‘Decade of Decay’.
The track is a spiralling, dreamy 80s rush, despite a title that comes off like a modern day politician’s slogan. The video highlights an adventure park romance gone wrong.
Spector have today confirmed themselves for a gig at London Birthdays for the DIY and Dr. Martens #STANDFORSOMETHING tour. That takes place on 26th October. Huge.
Meanwhile, Fred Macpherson and co headline the Festival Republic Stage at Reading & Leeds this weekend. Read DIY’s ultimate guide to the fest here.
