Ciao, bella
Listen to a Mystery Jets rarity, ‘Anno’s Italy’
Track’s been given away to celebrate ten years of Transgressive Records.
As part of this year’s birthday celebrations for Transgressive Records (the label turns ten this year), an oldie from Mystery Jets is being given away for free.
‘Anno’s Italy’ is a colossal, ever-stretching number from the band’s (very) early days, before the release of their debut album ‘Making Dens’. Initially available as a live number, this is the first time a studio version’s been made available for download.
Elsewhere this week, Transgressive has given away tracks from Aussie producer Flume and current label favourite The Antlers.
Mystery Jets play as part of Transgressive’s 10th Birthday celebrations at London Barbican on 30th September, alongside Johnny Flynn, Marika Hackman and Dry The River. Tickets are available here.
For an extensive feature on the past and exciting future of Transgressive, check out September’s issue of DIY, out Friday 5th.
