Listen: Warpaint Stream New Song, ‘Biggy’

Potentially devoted to Biggie Smalls, Warpaint have unveiled a new song from their second, self-titled album.

‘Biggy’ follows on from the stunning ‘Love Is To Die’. Whereas that track excelled by twisting and turning, leaving previous structures for dead, ‘Biggy’ is a more rooted being. A constant, swelling synth line persists into the 2 minute mark, at which point everything opens up, in a spacious song defined by Emily Kokal’s crackling vocals.
