You! Me! Carling!
Los Campesinos! announce festive EP release, stream new track
‘A Los Campesinos! Christmas’ out December 8th.
Cardiff six-piece Los Campesinos! have gotten into the festive spirit early with the announcement of a 5-“carol” Christmas EP, set for release through Turnstile / Heart Swells on 8th December. The limited EP will be available to pre-order from the band’s website this evening, which comes along with a specially-designed Los Campesinos! Christmas Card, hand-signed by the band.
Including a cover of Mud’s 1974 yuletide classic, ‘Lonely This Christmas’, this is the welsh Indie-Pop outfit’s first release since their 2013 LP ‘No Blues’. They lead the merry cheer with a new single, in the form of ‘When Christmas Comes’, alongside their christmas singles from previous years in ‘A Doe To A Deer’ and ‘The Holly & The Ivy’. Each track has been produced by guitarist Tom Campesinos! and long-time friend of the group John Goodmanson.
The group are heading out on a short tour of the UK, including a sold out date in Birmingham for the Dr. Martens #STANDFORSOMETHING tour.
