Lower Dens share video for ‘To Die In L.A.’
The new video comes alongside tour dates in America this March.
Lower Dens have shared a video for their latest single ‘To Die In L.A.’, taken from their upcoming album ‘Escape From Evil’. The new album is the follow-up to their 2012 release ‘Nootropics’, and will be released on 31st March through Ribbon Music.
Starring actress Actually Huizenga and directed by SSION’s Cody Critcheloe, the video is inspired by the 1985 film of the same name, with singer Jana Hunter adding the song is “about something wild, careless, exciting and tragic,” in a press release.
Director Critcheloe adds that the song’s stereotypical look at the city inspired him to “write the treatment,” with the actress representing “this quintessential ‘80s LA summerbabe in the video, simultaneously delusional and intelligent, dressed up in all of my current obsessions/impressions of L.A.”
Lower Dens have also announced a short tour of America, playing the following dates
