Chart update
Lucy Rose on course for top 10 album with ‘Work It Out’
While Ed Sheeran climbs back to the top.
Ed Sheeran’s ‘x’ has climbed back to the top of the charts, according to midweek figures from the Official Charts Company.
‘x’ - which first topped the chart this time last year - is set to out-sell last week’s number 1, Lionel Richie’s ‘The Definitive Collection’.
New entries this week arrive from Saint Raymond and Lucy Rose. The latter is set to score her second top 10 with ‘Work It Out’, which currently sits at #8.
Other new entries include Ezra Furman’s ‘Perpetual Motion People’ (#21).
This is the last Official Album Chart battle to take place before Global Release Day begins - from 10th July, all releases will come out worldwide on Fridays.
