Låpsley airs new single, ‘Hurt Me’
The song was premiered yesterday evening on BBC Radio 1.
Låpsley premiered a brand new single last night on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show - titled ‘Hurt Me’.
The track is the A-side to ‘Burn’, the song the Merseyside singer-songwriter-producer unveiled earlier this month to celebrate her 19th birthday (let’s hope it was a good’un).
The single is the follow-up to her debut EP, ‘Understudy’, released back in January.
When pressed on when a full-length album would follow, her response was a decidedly non-specific (and obvious, let’s face it), “in the next year definitely”.
Låpsley has a series of festivals lined up for the remainder of the summer, including Bestival, Electric Picnic and Iceland Airwaves.
Listen to ‘Hurt Me’ below.
