Låpsley shares new video for ‘Hurt Me’
Lappers goes for a walk by the beach in the minimal new visual.
Låpsley has shared a new video for ‘Hurt Me’. She first released the A-side to ‘Burn’ last month, and it follows her debut EP ‘Understudy’.
The minimal clip shows a contemplative Lappers going for an afternoon stroll by the beach, walking through twiggy woodland, and singing directly to the camera. Her destination - a ginormous dune - begins and ends the video, heavily manipulated vocal lines skipping over the top of the sand mountain.
When asked by BBC Radio 1 about her full-length album, Låpsley was decidedly non-specific - “in the next year, definitely,” she said. It’s shaping up to be a stormer.
