Maggie Rogers hits the road in the video for ‘Split Stones’

Very recently, Maggie Rogers released a new track called ‘Split Stones’, and released a long accompanying message to go with it.

In it, she hinted that the track would be her last for a while: “My EP told you everything I felt during my last semester of college […] It’s time for me to tell you the story of everything that’s happened since”. She continued: “‘Split Stones’ is a parting gift. This is me saying goodbye for a little while. Here’s to the end of the beginning and the start of everything else”.

As one very last gift to her fans before taking that (well-deserved) break though, Maggie’s now shared a video for the single. It’s compromised of footage shot on her tour of the UK and Europe this summer, and features a lot of Maggie, well, simply being very happy. It’s fit to bursting with joy. Who said parting was such sweet sorrow?
