Morrissey Adds Details To ‘Satellite Of Love’ Single

Cover of late Lou Reed comes in three different versions, heaving with B-sides.

Last month Morrissey’s label took it upon themselves to announce a new Morrissey single, a cover of ‘Satellite of Love’ by the late Lou Reed.

Following that, the single came confirmed with some brilliant, suitably Morrissey artwork. Completing the jigsaw, he’s now announced details of the various single formats and respective b-sides.

A digital version is released next week. A 12’ vinyl and 7’ picture disc arrives on 28th January.

Every version will feature ‘You’re Going to Need Someone on Your Side’, which originally featured on 1992 album ‘Your Arsenal’. The digital version also contains a live version of ‘Mama Lay Softly on the Riverbed’.

The 12’ version features a live version of The Smiths’ ‘Vicar in a Tutu’ and 2008 single ‘All You Need Is Me’.
