Morrissey Rumoured To Headline Summer In The City In Manchester
Spokesperson for the festival tells DIY they are unaware of any plans.

has been strongly rumoured to be a headliner for Manchester’s first ever Summer In the City festival, taking place at the Castlefield Bowl this July.
The autobiography-penner recently announced dates in the US, with Cliff Richard and Tom Jones being announced as eye-raising supports.
When speaking to BBC 6 Music this morning (6th February), Larry Gott from James inadvertently announced Morrissey’s involvement in the festival, in conversation with Lauren Laverne.
A spokesperson for the festival gave DIY an official line of: ‘The event organisers are unaware of any plans to put Morrissey on in Manchester at all this summer.’
Summer In the City takes place on 10th-11th July. Tickets are priced at £37.50 for July 10 and £35 for July 11.
