Morrissey’s ‘Autobiography’ Cancelled A Week Ahead Of Release
Heaven knows he’s not being published now…
‘Autobiography’, the craftily titled autobiography by Morrissey, was due to be released on 16th September by Penguin Books.
At the very last minute, however, it’s been pulled altogether.
According to true-to-you.net, the book’s release has been completely cancelled by Penguin. Morrissey is now looking for a new publisher.
A statement reads:
‘Although Morrissey’s Autobiography was set to be available throughout the UK on September 16th, a last-minute content disagreement between Penguin Books and Morrissey has caused the venture to collapse. No review copies were printed, and Morrissey is now in search of a new publisher.’
Penguin Books have yet to comment.
There was no listing on Amazon or other retailers for the autobiography and the release had yet to receive any promotion.
