Mount Kimbie plan a heist in the video for ‘Delta’

It’s the journey through one man’s fragile mental state on a single day.

With their new album ‘Love What Survives’ out on 8th September (this time next week!) Mount Kimbie have shared another new track from their latest record.

‘Delta’ is perhaps one of the most frenetic cuts taken from the LP to date, with its pulsating tones ramping up in intensity with every passing second. It’s also got a high-octane video from regular collaborator Frank Lebon. Much like their recent video for ‘Blue Train Lines’ – which told the story of the last remaining member of the Yahi tribe – the clip for ‘Delta’ focuses on the mind of one man across the course of a day. As the track builds, he sets out to complete a robbery (led by his girlfriend, no less), but his mind eventually gets the better of him.

Speaking of the video, Frank said: Frank says: “We follow Milson Pulse on 21/05/17; the day he is convinced to plan and take part in a robbery lead by his girlfriend. It is also the day Milson goes missing. On a journey through his fragile mind Milson experiences chameleonic spasms during the stress he is under. I like to believe that Milson Pulse came to the conclusion a change is as good as a rest”.

Mont Kimbie are embarking on a little tour of the UK as part of a more extensive run in October and November. They’ll be playing in Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and London, and tickets are on sale now.
