Nick Valensi Working With Brody Dalle
Or Dalle-Homme as she’s now called, as the former Distiller posts a photo of Nick online.
It would appear, as a Strokes fan site has pointed out, that Nick Valensi has a new project on the go.
Weeks after the release of The Strokes’ latest ‘Comedown Machine’ - it’s not like we expected the one-time New York five to actually tour the record - it looks like he’s working with The Distillers’ Brody Dalle (now going by Dalle-Homme, following her 2007 marriage to Queens of the Stone Age main man Josh).
Brody posted a photo of Nick on her Instagram, with the caption ‘Thank you Nicky Valensi for the radass guitar’.
And - bear with us, it’s 2013 here - by including Valensi’s other half, Amanda De Cadenet in the conversation, there’s more confirmation of the collaboration, as she adds ‘My man making music with my BFF Brody’.
Got it?
Brody herself was last seen with Spinnerette back in 2009, though is set to appear on Queens of the Stone Age’s forthcoming album, confirmed yesterday, ‘…Like Clockwork’.
