Obongjayar takes aim at politicians on new ‘Paradise Now’ single ‘Jellyfish’
His second album lands at the end of the month.

Obonjayar has upped the ante in the lead up to the arrival of his sophomore album with ‘Jellyfish’, a no-holds-barred new track that sees him rail against the ineffectiveness of UK governments.
Recorded with Fontaines DC’s Carlos O’Connell and Kwes Darko (Pa Salieu, John Glacier), his latest effort is a riotous synth-punk offering that combines the high-octane dynamism of electronic music with the effortless immediacy of his distinctive vocal delivery.
Due out on 30th May (via September Recordings), Obongjayar’s second LP ‘Paradise Now’ will act as a follow up to his 2022 debut ‘Some Nights I Dream Of Doors’, and has so far been previewed via singles ‘Just My Luck’, ‘Not In Surrender’, and ‘Sweet Danger’.
