Of Montreal Post New Track ‘Wintered Debts’ Online
The song is thought to be taken from their forthcoming new album, ‘Paralytic Stalks’.
Of Montreal have unveiled a track thought to be taken from their forthcoming new album, the follow up to 2010’s ‘False Priest’. The song is call ‘Wintered Debts’, and you can have a listen now via ofmontreal.net/wintered-debts - or the player below.
The new album doesn’t currently have a release date, but it’s titled ‘Paralytic Stalks’ and is expected to see the light of day early next year via Polyvinyl.
Speaking to us about the record in the forthcoming edition of DIY (due out at the end of the month), frontman Kevin Barnes says: ‘I think with ‘False Priest’ I was doing roleplaying, in a way, telling stories and acting out and singing songs from a different persona. [‘Paralytic Stalks’ is] definitely more in touch with my personal life and as a whole it’s much more confessional.’
