of Montreal to release live album for Record Store Day
‘Snare Lustrous Doomings’ is coming out as a yellow and orange double LP.
of Montreal have announced plans to release an extensive live album, bringing together material from their last five albums (prior to ‘Aureate Gloom’, beginning with ‘Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer?’)
‘Snare Lustrous Doomings’ is being released for Record Store Day 2015, via Polyvinyl. Limited to 3000 copies, it’s being pressed on yellow and orange vinyl (reports Pitchfork).
Tracks were recorded at San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall and Portland’s Wonder Ballroom. A live version of ‘Wraith Pinned To The Mist And Other Games’ is streaming below.
