Of Montreal unveil ‘Empyrean Abattoir’ track from new album

Of Montreal have shared one of their most immediate tracks in years in the shape of ‘Empyrean Abattoir’, a take from their forthcoming LP.

With Kevin Barnes set to release ‘Aureate Gloom’ on 2nd March via Polyvinyl, his latest track gets by on simple, sharp bass lines and overlaid vocals. Standout line? “Now you’re back in Knoxville masturbating your father’s pain,” which he then decides to repeat for a chorus.
