Last night (2nd March), Parquet Courts were on the telly, performing ‘Berlin Got Blurry’ on Conan. Bringing cowboy hats and some chirpy keyboards to the occasion, they showcased a standout from their forthcoming new album ‘Human Performance’. The track landed last week alongside a suitably drunken, stumbling video, directed by Claes Nordwall and starring frontman Andrew Savage ditching “nice guy bullshit” for a bad lad routine. ‘Human Performance’ is due out 8th April on Rough Trade Records, backed by the following dates:JUNE
London, Field Day
Bristol, Trinity
Liverpool, New Kazimier
Edinburgh, La Belle Angele
Leeds, Irish Centre
Manchester, Gorilla
