Priya Ragu returns with new track, ‘Easy’

Following her breakout, critically acclaimed mixtape ‘damnshestamil’, Priya Ragu is back with latest track ‘Easy’, Radio 1’s Hottest Record. Hinting at a longer project in the works, ‘Easy’ is an upbeat combination of bouncy beats, alternative R&B, and a poppier flavour than previous releases.

Speaking about the track, Priya comments: “We tend to make things way too complicated. We don’t want to move too quickly, we don’t want to say it too fast - we expect the other to make the first step - we dance between expectation, ego, and fear of rejection. I’m describing a moment where one is giving the green light but nothing is moving at all”.

‘Easy’ arrives accompanied by a similarly seasonal video - directed by Jade Ang Jackman at PRETTYBIRD - which sees Priya cruise between various local haunts with a crowd of mates and a classic BMW.
