Purity Ring air new track ’Repetition’

The duo were guests on Huw Stephens’ Radio 1 show last night.

Purity Ring were special guests on Huw Stephens’ Radio 1 show last night, dropping in to discuss their upcoming album ‘Another Eternity’. During the interview they shared a new track from the release - ‘Repetition’.

Their latest cut follows the previous singles ‘Push Pull’ and ‘Begin Again’, and provides a darker, slightly murkier preview of the album. With beats that sound like strings, ‘Repetition’ features muted aggressive synth lines that shadow Megan James’ vocals at the chorus. It swells slightly louder towards the finale, with James’ voice transformed by autotune effects.

Purity Ring recently announced a seven-date UK tour that will begin in April 2015 - tickets are available here. Listen to ‘Repetition’ at the 8:28 mark below.
