Real Estate Announce ‘Atlas’ Album, Share ‘Talking Backwards’ Video

Sun-lounging Brooklynites Real Estate have announced details of their new studio album, ‘Atlas’.

The record comes out via Domino 3rd March (UK) and 4th March (US). It’s the band’s follow up to ‘Days’, which came out back in 2011.

‘Atlas’ is headed up by a new song, ‘Talking Backwards’, which was eventually unveiled after a string of Instagram images (of the wall mural that forms the record’s art).

Charles Poekel directs the ‘Talking Backwards’ video, which brings together studio footage, nodded heads and furrowed brows. The track itself is obsessed with location (as the album title might suggest), recounting the perils of a long distance relationship and not quite making it to the other side.
