SOPHIE says she’s releasing four albums this year

SOPHIE released her debut album ‘THE OIL OF EVERY PEARL’S un-INSIDES’ last month, and it looks like the record isn’t the last we’ll get from the producer this year.

In a new interview with Spanish publication MondoSonoro, translated into English via The FADER, she says: “I have the next one finished…I’m going to release four albums this year.”

Asked whether these four albums were EPs, LPs or anything in between, she said it would be “a mix”.

“Although people are going to see these four releases as different things,” she continued, “to me, they are the same thing.”

The producer also recently confirmed a long-suspected Lady Gaga collaboration, sharing the news to a fan in a video posted to Twitter.

So then, we don’t know the shape, size or release date of the new records, but plenty more SOPHIE music looks to be on the way in 2018!
