Spector reveal new video for ‘All The Sad Young Men’
The band’s new clip comes directed by Laura Baker.
After unveiling their new single ‘All The Sad Young Men’ earlier this month, Spector have now revealed its accompanying video.
Directed by St Martins graduate Laura Baker after being approached by the band’s bassist Tom Shickle, you can check out their new clip below.
“I first approached Laura after seeing her work at a film club put on by the photographer Tyrone Lebon,” Shickle said, in a press release about the video. “Her work seemed to encapsulate the empty yet jubilant feeling of the track. Luckily for us she said yes to making the video - she completely understood the mood of the song and started filming pretty much straight away.”
The band’s new single gets released on 23rd March, and is taken from their forthcoming second album.
The band are also due to celebrate its release when they play a special one-off show in London next month, at The Lexington.
