Spector unveil new video for ‘Stay High’
As the band gear up to release their new album, they’ve offered up a new live clip.
It’s not long now until Spector released their second album, but in the meantime, the band have unveiled a brand new video for ‘Stay High’.
The band’s latest clip - which follows on from the likes of ‘Bad Boyfriend’ and ‘Kyoto Garden’ - sees the four-piece in their natural habit, aka on stage. The video was filmed during their recent shows at both The 100 Club and The Lexington in London.
Speaking of the track itself - which gets its own release as a single on 21st August - frontman Fred MacPherson has said that ‘Stay High’ “is about keeping yourself distracted while everything around you goes to shit. When all that’s left of your relationship are dates booked on Groupon and your sense of adventure’s dictated by the offers on lastminute.com it’s hard not to want to dislodge yourself from reality permanently.”
The song gets taken from their forthcoming new album ‘Moth Boys’, which is also due to land on 21st August via Fiction Records. The band will also be doing a series of instore performances and signings around its release.
