Speedy Ortiz unveil ‘My Dead Girl’ video

Their latest album ‘Foil Deer’ might be one of the best of 2015 (here’s our five-star review, ‘ICYMI’), but Speedy Ortiz haven’t let that go to their heads - their new ‘My Dead Girl’ video is still flat-out bonkers.

Taking unlikely inspiration from both David Lynch and Jim Henson, the clip sees Speedy perform in One Eyed Jacks casino from Twin Peaks, alongside a cast of, er, Muppets. It’s a daft combination, but one that matches ‘My Dead Girl’’s eerily bleak construction.
