A robot goes walkabout in Sundara Karma’s new ‘One Last Night On Earth’ video
The band’s second album ‘Ulphias’ Alphabet’ is out next year.
Sundara Karma announced their second album ‘Ulphias’ Alphabet’ at the start of the month, sharing new single ‘One Last Night On Earth’ in the process.
The track now has its own new video, which sees a robot roaming around town and falling in love (aww!).
Discussing the video, Oscar Pollock says: “I wanted to make a music video inspired by the Dogme 95 movement - something really slapdash/DIY. Something that relied upon the character and the location rather than perfection or meticulous lighting. I shot it all on an old Sony DCR-VX9000E and the batteries for the camera were horrendous so the camera could have cut out at literally any moment, meaning we could only really afford to do one shot of each scene. The benefit was that it that made it feel more like a documentary which was perfect.”
‘Ulfilas’ Alphabet’ will come out on 1st March next year via Chess Club/RCA and the band will take it on a big UK tour later in the year.
