Sunflower Bean share new single ‘I Hear Voices’
The new release follows on from Brooklyn band’s debut EP late last year.
Brooklyn psychedelic band Sunflower Bean have shared a new single, ‘I Hear Voices’. It’s set to be the band’s first 7” release, and comes out as a double single with b-side ‘The Stalker’ via Fat Possum on July 24th 2015.
The single arrives shortly after Sunflower Bean’s stint at Brighton’s Great Escape festival last weekend. It’s a murky, urgent slice of psych-meets-post-punk, bending ‘Paranoid’-era Black Sabbath through a kaleidoscope filled with cherryade. It’s their first new material since debut EP ‘Show Me Your Seven Secrets,’ which they self-released at the end of last year.
