Tame Impala score top five album, Years & Years top charts for a second week
‘Currents’ has gone straight in at #3 in the Official Albums Chart.
After a chart battle, Years & Years’ ‘Communion’ remains top of the Official Albums Chart, enjoying a second consecutive week at #1.
Missing out on the top spot is Tame Impala’s ‘Currents’, Kevin Parker and co.’s third album is this week’s highest new entry at #3. Usual suspects Ed Sheeran, James Bay and Sam Smith complete the top five.
Other new entries include X Factor runner-up Andrea Faustini, with ‘Kelly’ and Nick Jonas’ self-titled album, at #16.
This summer, Tame Impala play festival slots at End of the Road, Electric Picnic and Bestival. They also play dates in Glasgow (Barrowlands, 8th September) and Liverpool (Olympia, 9th September).
