The Districts perform new track ‘Suburban Smell’ for La Blogothéque
Their new offering comes from the group’s debut album, which is due in February.
A couple of months ago, The Districts performed on A Take Away Show for La Blogothéque, with their appearance including a new track from their debut album ‘A Flourish and A Spoil’. Having played two tracks under the bridge of a canal, they showcased their recent single ‘4th and Roebling’ and new offering, ‘Suburban Smell’.
Playing alone in the shade, Parisians pass by whilst Grote plays in earnest, before he is joined by the full band to give eloquent performance of ‘4th and Roebling’ whilst walking along the canal paths and into the afternoon sun.
The Districts will release their debut album ‘A Flourish and A Spoil’ on 9th February via Fat Possum Records. Watch the six-minute performance from the band below.
