The Smashing Pumpkins share new song ‘Drum and Fife’

And the artwork features Billy Corgan, like you’ve never seen him before.

With a recently announced tour and their tenth studio album just around the corner, The Smashing Pumpkins have unveiled a more sedate side to the upcoming ‘Monuments To An Elegy’.

“I will bang this drum ‘til my dying day,” they promise on ‘Drum and Fife’, and the artwork which features a very young Billy Corgan, drum in hand, does nothing to dispel that.

‘Monuments To An Elegy’ is out on December 8th, with the band already releasing the tracks ‘Tiberius’, ‘Being Beige’ and ‘One and All’. Smashing Pumpkins will play a handful of dates before the album’s release where they will be joined by members of The Killers and Rage Against The Machine.
