Two Door Cinema Club Unveil ‘Next Year’ Video
The single is taken from the trio’s second album, ‘Beacon’.

Currently on a ‘really quite big’ UK headline tour, Two Door Cinema Club are to release new single ‘Next Year’ on 18th February.
It’s taken from the trio’s second album, ‘Beacon’, released late last summer, and which has already spawned singles ‘Sleep Alone’ and ‘Sun’.
And today, the band have shared a video for ‘Next Year’ - featuring footage filmed at their biggest show yet, headlining The O2 in Dublin.
A quote from guitarist Sam Halliday explains. ‘We’ve been having so much fun playing shows this year that we thought it very appropriate to make one into a music video. The O2 Arena in Dublin is one of the biggest headline shows we’ve ever played, so we thought it would be a great idea to capture it on film. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!’
There’s also a remix of the track from north-east newcomers Shields.
Two Door Cinema Club are set to finish their current UK headline tour tomorrow night at Brixton Academy (8th February). They return to the UK live stage this February with a trio of dates in Edinburgh, Wolverhampton and London.
The details for this are:
APRIL
25 Edinburgh Corn Exchange
26 Wolverhampton Civic Hall
27 London Alexandra Palace
The band are also due to appear at this year’s T in the Park festival, and BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Derry / Londonderry this May.
