Song’s due to premiere during this year’s Super Bowl.

With a new album due out later this year

, U2 have shared the details of ‘Invisible’, their first single since 2009’s ‘No Line on the Horizon’.

The track is set to be given away as a free download on iTunes for 24 hours only on the 2nd February. Each time the track is downloaded, the Bank of America will donate $1 to the (RED) organization, with a limit of $2 million.

It’ll first be aired during a commercial break in the Super Bowl, as part of a video directed by Mark Romanek.

Danger Mouse produces the song, and it’s been mixed by Tom Elmhirst.

The new album was mostly recorded in New York’s Electric Lady Studios - it’s tentatively due out in April 2014.

Meanwhile, U2’s ‘Ordinary Love’ track (taken from the ‘Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom’ film), has been nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Original Song.
