Brother Beyond: Viva Brother Live On, Minus Gritpop.
It looks like recently separated ‘Gritpop’ band Brother has changed direction, as singer Lee fronts new project Lovelife.

A mere 2 months ago, the world (or a small portion of it) went into mourning. Brother, or Viva Brother as they became known, ended their quest to reinvent Britpop. It seems that while the boys might’ve lost the battle, they’re not going to lose the war - as now it appears Lee is back, fronting a drastically different band called Lovelife.
The bands’ website is minimal on information aside from a bar where you can listen to ‘Brave Face’ - and far from gritpop, it sounds like a boyband eurovision entry with Alvin and the Chipmunks on backing duties. Lovelife’s Facebook reads ‘Everything is something already.’ and the band members are listed mysteriously simply as A&L - although in between the Facebook page’s pictures of leggy girls, you can clearly spot Lee wandering around stateside wearing his trademark glasses. Far from the sunny climes of Slough, Lovelife are apparently based in Brooklyn, NY.
This is not the first time Brother have undergone a complete reinvention - before single-handedly attempting to change rock music, Brother were an emo band who went by the name Kill the Arcade and later Wolf Am I.
You can listen to ‘Brave Face’, as well as two other tracks from Lovelife, below:
