Warp Films Announce Theatrical & DVD Release Of ATP Australia
The film documents the festival’s recent history.
Warp Films have confirmed they will release their film of All Tomorrow’s Parties Australia this spring.
It will not only be released on DVD this July, but in cinemas too from 23rd June.
Here’s a bit of info about what it actually is: ‘The film is a semi-found multi media bricolage shot by over two hundred filmmakers, fans and musicians over the festival’s recent history, with key contributions from co-director Jonathan Caouette (Tarnation) and cinematographer Vincent Moon (The Take Away Shows, Arcade Fire).’
Bands featured include: Belle And Sebastian, Grizzly Bear, Sonic Youth, Battles, Portishead, Animal Collective, Les Savy Fav and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
The screenings will take place at these locations:

Dendy Newtown
Tribal Theatre
Cinema Nova Melbourne
