Warpaint get the sun shining at Glastonbury

“Hello”, is the simple greeting from Emily Kokal, as she and her band mates work their way through an introspective set. “Thanks, G-Berry… Glasto-B” adds fellow guitarist/vocalist Theresa Wayman, before introducing the quartet’s breakthrough number, ‘Undertow’, as “maybe your favourite song”. It’s not all oldies - set opener ‘Keep It Healthy’, ‘Love Is To Die’, ‘Drive’ and pulsating closer ‘Disco//Very’ are all pulled from the quartet’s self-titled latest.
