Warpaint “Home Making” Second Album

Warpaint are hard at work on their second album - the follow up to 2010’s ‘The Fool’ - according to a post on their Facebook page.

“Helllllloooo out therrrrre,” starts singer and guitarist Emily Kokal. “Sending some good vibrations to you kiddos wherever you are in the world, doing your thang… we’re home making our album. Can’t wait to share it with you all when it’s ready! Thank you for all the sweetness and encouragement, it’s so nice to have.”

We’re not quite sure what “home making” means (do they have a studio set up in their house? Are they just writing at the moment?), but it’s exciting to have an update, either way. They’ve been a little quite of late.

Last year at Les Ardentes festival in Liège, Belgium, the band did debut a new song however - check out the footage below.



Warpaint currently have one live appearance scheduled, at Moon Block Party’s Desert Daze Festival in California on 20th April. They’ll be playing alongside Tinariwen and Chelsea Wolfe.
