Warpaint, King Krule, Jagwar Ma, Earl Sweatshirt All Recorded Together
No, this isn’t a dream. They all hooked up in Australia for a ‘12-hour session’.
Collaborations are often very exciting. There’s James Blake hooking up with Chance The Rapper, even going as far as buying a home together, which is lovely. There’s Angel Haze and Ellie Goulding joining forces for a one-off occasion. And then there’s this.
Four amazing artists - current DIY cover stars Warpaint, Aussies Jagwar Ma, hyped-up teen King Krule and rapper Earl Sweatshirt - have all spent time in the same room together, which is astonishing in itself. Not only that. They’ve also been writing music together.
What’s set to emerge out of a ‘12 hour studio session’ is anyone’s guess, but the Australia-based sessions were overseen by producer Jonto Danilewitz. King Krule and Earl Sweatshirt have already collaborated together, on material that’s yet to be released. But the rest is all new.
