Warpaint have shared a new track titled ‘No Way Out (Redux)’, the first in “a series of new songs being released this year.” The track was premiered on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show last night.

A staple of recent live performances, ‘No Way Out (Redux)’ is the group’s first new material since last year’s self-titled album. Weaving in and out of shadows, it opens with Emily Kokal stating: “Never again will I play that game with you.” More upbeat than their previous work, echoed harmonies are the main fabric of the track, with the group desperate to find their way out of a maze, helped along by the shuffling drums and murky bass licks.

Warpaint will play a short tour of UK/Europe this Spring on the following dates:

MARCH
13 Prague (CZ), Electronic Beats
15 Brussels (BE), Cirque Royale
16 Paris (FR), Le Trianon
18 Utrecht (NL), Tivoli
20 Birmingham, The Institue
22 Manchester, The Albert Hall
24 Glasgow, O2 Academy
25 Gateshead, The Sage
26 London, Eventim Apollo

Tickets for the shows are on sale now via the group’s website. Listen to ‘No Way Out (Redux)’ below.
