Warpaint’s Jenny Lee Lindberg starts solo project jennylee, announces debut album ‘right on!’

After posting several in studio updates to her Instagram over the last few months, Warpaint bassist Jenny Lee Lindberg has officially confirmed that she’s starting up a new solo project, jennylee. This afternoon she announced that she’ll be releasing her debut album ‘right on!’ on December 11th via Rough Trade.

She’s also shared a short trailer clip, which teases album tracks ‘never’, ‘boom boom’, and ‘he fresh’. Jenny Lee Lindberg co-produced the album with her friend Norm Block, at his Happy Ending studios in Silverlake, California. Dan Elkan (Broken Bells and Them Hills), and Warpaint’s Stella Mozgawa are among the musicians that feature on ‘right on!’.
