Alison Mosshart releases debut solo single ‘Rise’
It’s also accompanied by a self-directed new video.
Known as one-half of The Kills and the lead singer of The Dead Weather, Alison Mosshart has revealed her fiery debut solo single ‘Rise’.
A blistering new one, Alison wrote the initial idea for ‘Rise’ back in 2013. “I didn’t ever forget it,” she explains. “I remember right where I was when I wrote it, sitting at my desk in London, missing someone badly.”
Alongside the new song, she’s also shared a brand new video, comprised of clips of a recent trip to LA.
Hopefully the first taste of even more solo music to come, check out ‘Rise’ below.
