Watch Dirty Projectors play ‘Keep Your Name’ at an anti-fascist gig
It was part of a surprise set at the Washington DC event.
Last week, the Black Cat in Washington DC was the venue for ‘No Thanks: A Night of Anti-Fascist Sound Resistance in the Capital of the USA’.
It was organised by a host of local musicians and Katie Alice Greer of Priests, who also performed alongside Waxahatchee, Sad13 (aka Sadie Dupuis) and Ted Leo. But there was also a special set from some unannounced guests: Dirty Projectors.
David Longstreth took to the stage and played ‘Keep Your Name’, which was the first taster of their upcoming self-titled album. The quiet, tender moment was captured by a fan, showing David playing the track solo.
