Watch Mabel cover Coldplay in the Live Lounge
She also played her recent single ‘Fine Line’.
Mabel released her latest single ‘Fine Line’ – a collaboration with Not3s – earlier in the year, and she recently headed into BBC’s Live Lounge to play it.
That wasn’t the only tune she took on though. For the now-traditional cover version, she decided to take on Coldplay’s tearduct-bothering hit ‘Fix You’. Her version is a melancholic, downbeat number, with sparse electronic elements, piano and guitar giving room for Mabel’s own vocals to shine, accompanied by some smooth harmonies.
Mabel is also set to head out on a UK tour in April. She’ll be heading to Leeds, Nottingham, Dublin, Manchester, Glasgow and London along the way. Tickets are on sale now.
