Watch: Tegan & Sara Reveal Fifth Studio Update

Tegan & Sara have revealed their latest video studio update, which you can watch above.

The fifth episode in the series of ‘Carpool Confessionals’ shows Tegan and Sara as they approach the end of their time working with their first producer Greg Kurstin.

We were lucky enough to speak to Tegan Quin of the duo about how the recording experience is currently going.

The twins are set to work with three producers on the follow-up to ‘Sainthood’, which they are currently recording in Los Angeles.

‘Things in the studio have been fantastic. It has been a lot of fun so far bringing these demos to life. Sara and I submitted nearly 45 songs for this record. We were able to cut it down to 14 tracks which we will be recording over the next three months with three different producers here in Los Angeles. We have never done an entire record in Los Angeles but it worked out that way this time. The studios here are very nice and it’s been lovely to have so much sunshine.’
