Watch: Wild Beasts Share ‘Wanderlust’

have emerged out of the ‘Smother’ with a new song: ‘Wanderlust’, a track set to appear on their forthcoming 4th LP on Domino Records.

The song comes alongside a new video, featuring four typecast characters: ‘The Girl’, ‘The Quarterback’, ‘The Good Lady’, ‘The (Masked) Thief’. They begin jogging into the distance, destination unknown. They’re essentially aimless. As the video progresses, each character becomes more anxious, as winter arrives and snow covers their frames. By the end they’re distressed, screaming at nothing in particular but themselves. It’s a maddening take from the record, and more importantly it’s the sound of Wild Beasts finding their bite once more, returning with a startling, bloodthisty first taste.
