Sad news for a Monday morning, Wild Beasts are calling it a day.
Posting a note on their Twitter account, Hayden Thorpe and co say it is “now time to leave this orbit”.
They leave behind five studio albums, most recently last year’s ‘Boy King’.
“We’re care takers to something precious and don’t want to have it diminish as we move forwards in our lives,” they write.
Farewell shows have been promised. Re-visit our 2016 cover feature with the band here, and view the note in full below.
