Wunderhorse offer up latest single ‘Rain’
The song is the fourth track to be lifted from the band’s forthcoming second album, ‘Midas’.

As they gear up for release of their new album later this month, Wunderhorse have offered up another taste from it. This time landing in the form of ‘Rain’, the track follows on from previous singles ‘Silver’ and ‘July’, which will also feature on the band’s forthcoming second album ‘Midas’.
“Rain is about the feeling that makes you look over your shoulder sometimes, the idea that the forces that shape your world are unaware of your existence and beyond your control,” the now-band’s frontman Jacob Slater says of the song. “Something is coming but you don’t know what it is and you can’t stop it.”
As well as the official recorded version of the track - which was recorded at Minnesota’s Pachyderm Studio as part of the album’s sessions with producer Craig Silvey (The Rolling Stones, The National, Florence + the Machine) - Wunderhorse have also shared a live performance of the song, as recorded during their November 2023 headline show at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town. Check out both versions of the track below.
